Apprenticeship commitment
VEC has a high commitment to employing and training local people. With ~20% of our employees in the Steel Division undergoing an apprenticeship and ~20% of our staff in our Structures division undergoing an apprenticeship in Certificate 3 in Carpentry, we can confidently say that our apprentice ratio is superior, reflecting our strong devotion to upskilling local trades people.
